New York, USA- (Tubsan)- The Director General of the National Center for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (TUBSAN), Mr. Ali Yasin Gurbe, participated in the third day of the United Nations DDR Symposium, representing the Federal Government of Somalia.
During the symposium, Mr. Gurbe presented Somalia’s National Strategy for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism, emphasizing key approaches to rehabilitation and community reintegration for individuals disengaging from violent groups.
The event brought together global leaders and experts to exchange insights and strengthen international collaboration in addressing violent extremism and promoting sustainable peace.
